The Eco Village is a mixed-use development on the island of Cayman Brac in the Cayman Islands.
The Eco Village’s main target is the local and international investor who wants to be part of an environmentally-sensitive, design-focused development.
It features a self-contained community that recreates the traditional ideals of village life, radiating out from a central hub of convenience stores, cafe bars and community spaces. Residents and tourists alike have full access to the community centre, swimming pool and tennis courts that look onto ‘the lakes’.
At the top of the village, perched some 70 feet up on the bluff, is The Village Hotel. Made up of a number of eco-suites, each offering dramatic views of the Caribbean Sea, the hotel is also the nerve centre for the property management company that services the Eco Village rental properties – a key investment instrument for owners during the weeks or months when they are away from the island.
A significant target market for The Eco Village residences are people looking to qualify for ‘Sister Islands’ tax residency.
