Cowes and iPads

Crown World recently sent a team over to the Isle of Wight to host an exhibition stand during Cowes week.

The festival at Cowes is the largest sailing regatta of its kind in the world and attracts over 8,500 competitors ranging from Olympic and world class professionals to weekend sailors.

This year proved to be just as successful and the crowds revelled in the high quality of racing on show, including the Extreme 40’s who really are the Formula One of the sailing world.

It also proved to be a successful trip for the Crown World team who were kept busy by the thousands of visitors to the island. The knowledgeable sailing fanatics were well versed about the benefits of the Cayman Islands and were delighted to see what was on offer.

The trip over to Cowes also included a visit by Sam Tarling from Select Resorts who took the opportunity to spend a few days with the Crown World team and was also presented with his iPad 2 which he recently won for selling the ‘Plot of the Week’.
