Go Ahead given to redevelop airports

The government has given the tourism minister the go ahead to redevelop all three airports in the Cayman Islands. A policy has now been formulated for the redevelopment project.

 

The Cabinet gave the green light, noting that as government cannot borrow money, the airports redevelopment will be funded either through a public-private partnership, similar to the port project or through the Airports Authority’s own revenue.
