New Cayman School Opens Doors To Students
The Cayman Islands brand new state-of-the-art high school has opened its doors for the first time following its much-publicised completion.
The school, which cost nearly $200 million to build, will replace several of the older learning establishments throughout Grand Cayman that were no longer able to cope with the high number of pupils and the advanced requirements of modern teaching methods.
The end of the last school year saw a hive of activity as classrooms were packed up in order to facilitate the move to the new school that has room for over 850 students aged 11 and 16.
The new school has a clear vision for all of their students which is for them to have the right to enjoy their education, to succeed in the classroom and in their environment and to become confident, engaged and ready to play a key role in society as Caymanian and global citizens.
The school is set to become a massive success and will prove instrumental in convincing those families who are looking to migrate to the area that the Cayman Islands offers the best opportunities for their children’s future.
