New Smart Phone Application Announced For Cayman Islands
New Cayman Islands Smart Phone Application Announced By Tourism Association
The Cayman Islands will shortly have a new smart phone application available for free.
The tourist-related push-button app will be available on all Android phones, BlackBerry phones, iPads and iPhones, said Jane van der Bol, executive director of the Cayman Islands Tourism Association (CITA).
“It has an easy, user-friendly interface and is a push-button application with different sections where you can learn more about Cayman Islands Tourism Association (CITA), the destination, accommodation, eating out, news and more,” Ms van der Bol said. “All CITA members get a free general listing and endorsement logo. There are also very useful elements such as maps with a ‘you are here’ indication; it is very exciting.”
Website revamp
The tourism association’s website is also being redesigned with an updated and repopulated information set, showing visitors where to eat, stay and play.
The hope is to launch the new website at the annual general meeting of the tourism association, which takes place on Wednesday, 25 April, she said. The Cayman Islands Department of Tourism is also working on updating its own website.
Once the new App and website are availble to the public you can be sure that Crown World, land specialists in the Cayman Islands, will be the first to let you know.
