United starts weekly direct flight to Washington from Grand Cayman
United Airlines has begun a weekly non-stop Saturday service between Grand Cayman and Washington Dulles International Airport . United will use an Airbus A320 for the new service with seating for 138 passengers – twelve in first class and 126 in economy. The three-and-a-half-hour flight (UA695) will depart Grand Cayman at 12:40pm, arriving in Dulles at 4:04pm. The return flight (UA690) will depart Dulles at 8:21am arriving in Grand Cayman at 11:43am. United Airlines said it will be able to offer connections to and from dozens of cities in the United States as Dulles International is one of the airline’s hub airports.
