Credit Consumer Licence
CrownWorld provides its customers with the option to pay for goods and services using a payment plan and, therefore, under the Consumer Credit Act 1974, it is required to be licensed with the Consumer Credit Licensing Bureau of the Office of Fair Trading.
CrownWorld holds a Consumer Credit Category A Licence, which can be viewed by visiting the website of the Office of Fair Trading.

The UK’s Office of Fair Trading holds a public record of all licensed traders, as well as all those who have applied for a licence. It can provide the public with details about licensed businesses, such as their authorised trading names and their main business activities.
Anti-Money Laundering
The CrownWorld Group fully complies with all requirements concerning money laundering. This includes performing 'customer due diligence' measures to confirm the identities of all customers.
In practice, this means that we ask for the following from our customers:
• Your name
• Your photograph on an official document which confirms your identity
• Your residential address or date of birth
The best way for customers to satisfy these demands is to provide a government-issued photographic document, like a passport or a driver’s licence.
For proof of address, we require a utility bill from the past three months that clearly states both your name and your registered address.
Finally, along with the Purchase and Sale Agreement that we send to clients, we include an anti-money laundering form, which must be completed and signed before the deal can be finalised.
